Currently we live closest to a moderate sized city and across the river is a large city. We've enjoyed all you posted. There has never been a shortage of free things to do. The summer months make it hard to choose there is too much to do. We live near 3 large colleges and have taken advantage of many great speakers and performances. If you volunteer to be an usher there are even more free things to do. When I had a little one I signed her up for a couple of vacation bible schools. Each is 5 to 6 days and she had a wonderful time. Sometimes we would visit other neighborhoods playgrounds and we have several nearby that have fountains or water pads the kids can play in. Off season we go to state parks and enjoy small hikes and a picnic or if it's cold a thermos of chili and crackers with cheese.bizeemehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03614182912507438746noreply@blogger.com
